To enroll in courses, workshops and events please follow the course link and instructions. If the course requires a fee, you will be prompted to pay online with a credit card only.


Courses with fees greater than $100 may qualify for a Budget Payment Plan in which payments are divided into two equal installments. There is a non-refundable $20 set-up fee per course for enrollment in the Budget Payment Plan. If you cancel your enrollment at any time prior to paying the balance due or if you fail to pay the balance due by the course start date, you will be subject to a $25 course cancellation fee.  For more information on the Budget Payment Plan, contact the Fiscal Department at 317-274-5006 or

  • 6 days or fewer before class: 0% refund
  • 7-14 days before class: 50% refund, less $25 cancellation fee
  • 15 days or more before class: 100% refund, less $25 cancellation fee

Equal Opportunity and Sexual Harassment Policies

SOURCE River West is subject to and governed by the Indiana University Policy Against Sexual Harassment, adopted by the Indiana University Board of Trustees on June 15, 1998, which sets forth the general definitions, provisions and enforcement principles regarding sexual harassment on all IU campuses. The Equal Opportunity Policy at IUPUI prohibits discrimination against anyone for reasons of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, or status as Vietnam-era or special disabled veterans. Consistent with the IUPUI Equal Opportunity Policy, and federal and state nondiscrimination legislation, the following operating procedures have been established to address complaints of unlawful discrimination.

  1. The Complaint

A complaint is an allegation of discrimination/harassment based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin or ancestry, sex (including sexual harassment), sexual orientation, age, disability status, religion, veteran status, or marital status or a retaliation complaint that stems from the filing of a complaint alleging such discrimination/harassment in violation of the University’s policy. The allegation may be made by a student, staff member, faculty member, or by any other person who has been subjected to such discriminatory conduct by a member of the University community, or has been subjected to discriminatory treatment on property owned or operated by the University. Information or awareness of prohibited discrimination discovered independently of a complaint may also form an independent basis for commencing a University investigation.

  1. Role and responsibilities of the Office of Equal Opportunity

The Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) shall have the responsibility for investigating all complaints of harassment and discrimination. When complaints involve students, the Vice Chancellor for Student Life and the Director of OEO shall consult and coordinate their respective activities. The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor & Dean of Faculties shall be consulted if the complaint involves faculty, deans, chairs, and/or is likely to involve issues of academic freedom, academic integrity, or other issues that may involve an academic matter. Adaptive Educational Services shall be consulted if the complaint involves, or is likely to involve, actual or apparent disabilities or accommodations of the same. The Office of Human Resources Administration will be consulted when the complaint involves non-faculty employment-related issues. The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion shall be consulted regarding the resolution of campus-related diversity issues.

  1. Notice of the complaint

The Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) has developed a three-pronged approach to categorizing complaints: 1) a Consultative Approach to resolving the complaint which could include verbal conversations between the complainant and the respondent, as appropriate; 2) Mediation which is an intervention to work with both the complainant and the respondent to help them reach a mutually agreed upon resolution; and 3) a Formal Investigation that includes a comprehensive investigative approach. OEO will make a determination on the classification of the complaint.

  • OEO Matters:
    • Consultative Approach – OEO will consult, make an assessment, and intervene as appropriate, which may include facilitated discussions. No notice of complaint will be issued.
    • Mediation – OEO will assess the situation to determine whether mediation is appropriate. Either the Complainant or the Respondent may refuse mediation or, once commenced, end mediation at any time. No adverse inference is to be drawn from any such decision. OEO will send notification via:
      • Form A – Acknowledgement of Complaint, Mediation to Complainant (Mediation)
      • Form B – Notice of Complaint to the Respondent (Mediation)

Disability Statement

The IUPUI Adaptive Educational Services Office reviews requests and determines appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities. Students with psychological, physical, sensory, communicative and/or learning disabilities should seek out this office as soon as possible after admission to IUPUI if they require academic accommodations.  The student will be required to provide copies of medical or psychometric evaluations that document the presence of a disability and the impact of the disability on the student’s level of functioning. The IUPUI Adaptive Educational Services Office also coordinates the availability of assistive technology at various campus locations to provide accessible classroom materials and equipment. IUPUI complies with the requirements set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act to assure the rights of individuals with disabilities to fair, non-discriminatory treatment. Standards of Misconduct

Student Conduct

Students must conduct themselves so other students are not distracted from learning. Faculty members are to be treated with courtesy and respect. Students have to refrain from any conduct that constitutes a hazard to the health, safety, or wellbeing of fellow students, or University representatives in which the class is held. Students may be disciplined for such conduct in the form of probation, suspension or dismissal.

Academic Dishonesty

Misconduct Activities which Subject a Student or Student Organization to Disciplinary Action. IUPUI recognizes that it must create an environment where each student will be free to pursue her or his academic interests without interference from others.  This includes upholding the integrity of the academic process as well as providing a community free of disruptions.  The following restrictions are designed to foster a healthy and peaceful learning community.  Apathy or deliberate indifference are not neutral acts and may be violations of this standard.

Protecting the Rights of Educational Process

Students are expected to be honest in all academic work.  A student’s placement of his or her name on any academic exercise shall be regarded as assurance that the work is the result of the student’s own thought, effort, and study.  The following behavior is subject to disciplinary sanctions.

  1. Acts of dishonesty, including but not limited to the following:
    1. Cheating, plagiarism, or other forms of academic dishonesty. Plagiarism is defined as presenting someone else’s work, including the work of other students, as one’s own. Any ideas or materials taken from another source for either written or oral use must be fully acknowledged.  A student must not adopt or reproduce ideas, opinions, theories, formulas, graphics, or pictures from another person or source without acknowledgement.  The instructor will determine appropriate student disciplinary action that is consistent with the academic dishonesty policy contained in the syllabus of the instructor.
    2. Furnishing false information to any university official, faculty member, or office.
    3. Forgery, alteration. or misuse of any university document, record, or instrument of identification.

Incidents under b and c will be referred to the Executive Director of Professional Development and Corporate Education who will determine appropriate student disciplinary action in keeping with procedures used in the handling of other types of student conduct situations.

  1. Students who cheat on exams, quizzes and other assignments, including clinical assignments, are subject to dismissal from the training program. No refunds will be provided.
  2. Disruption of obstruction of teaching, research, administration of other university activities, including its public service functions on or off campus, or of other authorized non-university activities when the conduct occurs on university premises. (This policy is not intended to hinder organized, peaceful, and orderly protests.)

Attendance Policy

Philosophy of Attendance.  The IUPUI policy is premised upon the notion that students will attend all sessions of the classes in which they are enrolled.  This policy supports IUPUI’s philosophy that students benefit most from the people and facilities provided by the citizens of Indiana through proper and adequate class attendance.  Consequently, missing class for any reason will be regarded as an absence.


Student-Initiated Withdrawal from Class

If a student voluntarily withdraws from any noncredit training program once the course has begun then no refunds are provided.

Standards of Progress

IUPUI reserves the right to deny continued enrollment if the student is failing to make academic progress.  Also, IUPUI may deny admission of continued enrollment if the University does not have the resources to meet the academic needs of the student.

Student records/transcripts

IUPUI does not provide credit grades to continuing education programs and noncredit certificates. Grades though are given to participate in noncredit certificate training programs to provide the student an evaluation of progress and to determine final pass or fail status in the course. A Certificate of Completion is presented to the student who successfully completes the requirements of the courses, but no official transcript is provided. Students may request record of attendance and completion of their program if required for employment.
